      Oh my God! Nooo! Comté is Comté, Gruyère is Gruyère. Comté has nothing to do with Gruyère, it's a sort of cheese, not a sort of Gruyère. Sorry guys, you know I love you, but can't let this HUGE mistake stays on forever on the Internet

      To be proper Gouda, it should be with cow milk. I'm not sure why they're calling a sheep cheese Gouda. I just told this to my Dutch husband and his reply was "I don't trust Americans when it comes to cheese."

      Gouda tastes "gaoty"? What kind of Gouda do you had? O_o I for myself know it as more like a "kids" cheese... because it's very mild (at least the young one. If you had a very old one it is different, but by no means goaty... at least the ones I know ^^°)

      Not saying you should eat Velveeta (it isn't good), but only Brad's reaction seems reasonable. Plus, no one had the visceral, gag reaction until they confirmed it was indeed Velveeta. If you ate it a minute ago and you were fine, no need for theatrics after the fact.
